Tom Lee Pettersen is an experienced composer, music producer and sound designer with extensive skills in sound production. Originally from the US, Tom has lived and worked for extensive periods in Germany and China, cutting his teeth at Hansa Ton Studio in Berlin before going on to write, produce and even rap on his major label project called Reality Brothers with international artists as well as many other projects. He has produced music for commercial clients such as Porsche, collaborated on innumerable creative endeavours including composing music for contemporary dance projects with brand nu Dance in Shanghai and the Guangdong Modern Dance Company. Tom’s live music and theater productions have included such luminaries as Linton Kwesi Johnson, Tony Allen, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Chinese Opera singer Tian Mansha and many more. In addition to Tom’s creative collaborations and production work he has also been an educator, teaching sound reinforcement at the Shanghai Theater Academy.
